I must admit I’m still reeling from the outcome of the Referendum on the EU.
We’ve seen it looming on the horizon for so long, but I haven’t really paid too much attention to it, apart from the fact that I wasn’t eligible to vote, due to me being out of the country for longer than 15 years. Perhaps I didn’t think it was going to happen. In a referendum that potentially could effect my whole future and that of my family, I wasn’t allowed to vote. In fact, I’m not allowed to vote anywhere (apart from local elections in the town I am living) – so much for human rights.
We have taken our country back without a single bullet being fired. (Nigel Farage)
I have looked on as local MP Jo Cox was slain, and read the inevitable comment on Facebook “What did the Jo Cox murder have to do with the EU vote?” After all he was a confused man. And just because he yelled “Put Britain first” and in court answered that his name was “Death to traitors, freedom for Britain”, doesn’t make him a right wing racist, does it?
Come on people be serious, the only reason that Thomas Mair is not hanging from the Tower of London by his left testicle is the fact that he is not a Muslim. I know people with psychic problems, there are more around than you might think, but none of them run around shooting people.
And now that the die has finally been cast, there is uproar! A petition for a second referendum has reached nearly 3 million signatures, as people start to realise what they have done! The pound has plunged (anyone remeber Harold Wilson’s “The Pound in Your Pocket”?) I won’t bore you with the burst bubble surrounding the future financing of the NHS, you’ve all read about that already. It seems that all your bubbles are bursting though…
This one referendum, which should never, ever have taken place, has split the country right down the middle, has sown hatred under the people. We are now faced with the prospective crumbling of Great Britain, as Scotland prepare to declare independence, London petition to leave Great Britain, and Northern Ireland could well decide to join their cousins in the South. And the rest of England, who have got their freedom back, could stand out in the rain, and go down in the history books as the people who destroyed the rest of Great Britain.
We voted you out!
And the racist scum are already stirring it up. Stories of European foreigners already being harrassed

And most leavers still deny that the whole referendum was about immigration. Just open your eyes!!!
We’re making fools of ourselves and the rest of Europe are laughing their tits off.
Although I have been here in Germany for nearly forty years, I still have my British passport, and I have sworn that I will take it with me to my grave! I have always been immensely proud of my roots, proud Tyke, proud Brit, and I always thought it would stay that way. But, to tell you the truth, at the moment, I’m not too sure.
The only thing I can be certain of at the moment is, I am ashamed…
